Our expectations

As an Assortment Planning Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for supporting merchandisers in their category reviews. Your role will involve close collaboration with merchandisers to analyze category performance, identify challenges, and seize opportunities. You will work under the supervision of the Assortment Planning Manager and be responsible for preparing in-depth analyses to support strategic decisions.

 

Your role

  • Collaborate with merchandisers to understand the needs and objectives of each category.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and product performance.
  • Identify assortment improvement opportunities and provide recommendations.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to inform merchandisers and management.
  • Participate in team meetings and discussions on assortment strategy.
  • Develop expertise in assigned areas of the assortment planning process.
  • Create ad hoc analyses to support assortment optimization and financial modeling scenarios.

The qualifications we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.
  • Clear communication and effective presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools.
  • Understanding of concepts related to assortment planning.
  • Retail experience preferred.
